Duty Officer

About the role

The Duty Officer is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Cebu, responsible for overseeing daily construction operations and ensuring smooth coordination across project activities. This role acts as the central point for monitoring site performance, safety compliance, and incident reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily site operations and verify adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Report incidents, delays, or operational issues to relevant managers promptly.
• Coordinate work schedules, support workforce deployment, and manage site documentation such as logs and daily activity summaries.
• Communicate directly with project teams, contractors, and support functions to resolve issues and maintain workflow continuity.
• Assist in implementing company policies, emergency procedures, and contingency plans.

Required profile

• Strong operational monitoring and coordination abilities.
• Knowledge of construction site safety, quality standards, and basic project‑management practices.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
• Ability to work on‑site in Cebu, adapt to changing operational needs, and respond calmly to emergencies.
• Relevant experience in construction operations, site supervision, or related roles is an advantage.
• Diploma or degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office) for report writing, record keeping, and data entry.
