Duty Manager

About the role

The Duty Manager is a full‑time, on‑site position at Four Points by Sheraton Palawan in Puerto Princesa. The role oversees hotel operations during assigned shifts, ensuring exceptional guest service and strict adherence to Marriott brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the Front Office and Guest Services teams throughout the shift.
• Ensure smooth check‑in/check‑out processes and accurate room allocations.
• Monitor compliance with Marriott brand standards and hotel policies.
• Address and resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, food & beverage, and other departments to maintain operational efficiency.
• Prepare shift reports and hand over responsibilities to the next manager.
• Manage cash handling and front‑desk financial transactions.
• Train and coach team members on service standards and operational procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience in hotel front‑office or duty management.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
• Excellent customer‑service orientation.
• Familiarity with Marriott brand standards is a plus.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
