Duty Manager

About the role

The Duty Manager at Shangri-La Boracay ensures the smooth daily operation of the resort, enhancing guest experiences and supporting the Front Office team. This on‑site position is based in the premier beach destination of Boracay, Philippines.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily hotel operations and maintain high service standards.
• Supervise and direct the Front Office team, ensuring accurate guest check‑in and check‑out processes.
• Monitor arrivals and departures from a guest‑experience perspective.
• Respond to emergencies following standard operating procedures and ensure safety of guests and staff.
• Keep all colleagues updated on hotel products, services, and promotions.

Required profile

• Pride in hospitality and a self‑starter attitude.
• Friendly, helpful, and trustworthy leadership style.
• Comprehensive understanding of room and front desk operations.
• Previous experience in a similar duty manager role within a hotel.
• Preferably holds a hotel‑management related education.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
