Director of Learning Strategy

About the role

2 Hour Learning is seeking a senior academic leader to shape and execute its learning‑science‑based model that enables students to learn at twice the conventional rate. This remote, high‑impact position will drive strategic alignment across multiple school sites and serve as the public face of a validated educational movement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop academic frameworks that translate learning‑science principles into actionable curriculum, motivation, and application design.
• Conduct execution assessments with Heads of Academics to ensure alignment, accountability, and outcome delivery.
• Integrate data analysis, stakeholder interviews, and direct observation to evaluate the academic ecosystem and recommend targeted solutions.
• Maintain strategic coherence through planning cycles, feedback mechanisms, and milestone management.
• Represent 2 Hour Learning at senior levels, including keynote presentations and engagements with ministries of education.
• Expand and refine the validated academic model across multiple school sites, raising leadership benchmarks and acting as the authoritative spokesperson.

Required profile

• Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Learning Science, Educational Psychology, Instructional Design, or a related field.
• Proven track record of building and scaling learning systems that deliver measurable student outcomes.
• Experience leading cross‑functional academic teams and aligning execution across diverse school environments.
• Strong credibility to communicate scientific findings to external stakeholders and policy makers.
