DevOps Manager – Remote (Midshift)

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on DevOps Manager to lead technical initiatives for a global insurance business. The role is fully remote, operating on a mid‑shift schedule (9 AM‑6 PM GMT/BST), and combines leadership of internal developers with oversight of external vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across application development, DevOps, system integrations and technology operations.
• Mentor internal development teams while managing outsourced vendors and managed service providers.
• Review solution designs, drive automation, release management and system reliability improvements.
• Lead technology projects, platform enhancements and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Oversee data flows, AI‑enabled automation adoption and compliance with security and governance standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field (preferred).
• Senior‑level experience in DevOps, software engineering or technology leadership.
• Proven track record of leading and mentoring development teams while remaining hands‑on.
• Experience managing outsourced technology vendors and ensuring quality delivery.
