DevOps Engineer (Technical Operations)

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Technical Operations Specialist to join our engineering team at a fast‑growing health‑tech startup. The role sits at the intersection of DevOps and technical administration, supporting deployment pipelines, cloud infrastructure and day‑to‑day operational tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing and monitoring CI/CD pipelines for application deployments.
• Support AWS cloud infrastructure setup, maintenance and cost optimisation.
• Perform routine server health checks, respond to basic alerts and maintain uptime.
• Write and maintain infrastructure‑as‑code scripts (Bash, Terraform, etc.).
• Update and manage customer records and handle internal tool access requests.
• Provide first‑level technical support to internal teams and track IT assets.
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot deployment issues and improve release processes.
• Leverage AI‑assisted coding tools (Claude, Gemini, Antigravity) to automate repetitive tasks.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in DevOps, IT support or technical operations.
• Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts and version control (Git).
• Hands‑on experience with core AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, etc.).
• Comfortable working with Linux/Bash command‑line interfaces.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to document processes.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
