DevOps Engineer – Mid Shift – Remote

About the role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to own and evolve the infrastructure behind our AI platform. The position works on a mid‑shift schedule, Monday‑Friday 11:30 AM – 8:30 PM Manila time, and is fully remote.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage secure, scalable, cost‑efficient AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK).
• Oversee core AWS services – compute, networking, storage, databases, security, monitoring and container platforms (ECS/EKS, Docker, ECR).
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that automate testing, containerisation, security scanning and zero‑downtime releases.
• Implement observability, incident response, disaster‑recovery and high‑availability strategies.
• Apply cloud‑security best practices across IAM, secrets management, encryption and compliance.
• Support generative AI and ML workloads on Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, GPU instances and vector databases.
• Collaborate with engineering, AI/ML and product teams, create operational documentation and mentor developers on DevOps practices.

Required profile

• 3‑6 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, Cloud or Platform Engineering.
• Strong hands‑on experience with AWS services (compute, networking, storage).
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation or AWS CDK.
• Deep expertise in Docker and production experience with ECS, EKS or Kubernetes.
• Solid scripting skills in Bash and Python or Go.
• Linux administration, networking fundamentals and Git workflow knowledge.
• Experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines and monitoring/logging solutions.
• Ability to work across mobile (Flutter), web (React) and backend (Python/FastAPI) environments.
• Interest or experience with AI/LLM workloads (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.).
