DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to support and monitor our data‑platform operations built on Azure, Databricks, Power BI and ETL/ELT pipelines. The role ensures high availability, timely incident resolution and continuous improvement of the platform.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to pipeline failures, Databricks workflow issues, Power BI refresh problems and service interruptions.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot jobs, credentials, access controls, source files, data refreshes, platform configurations, SQL and ETL/ELT processes.
• Manage CI/CD activities, release coordination, environment promotions, rollback procedures and production validation using Git and DevOps practices.
• Administer Azure, Databricks and Power BI access in line with security and governance policies.
• Perform controlled reruns, backfills, minor production fixes and routine operational tasks to keep the platform stable.
• Use Python/PySpark to troubleshoot data‑processing and pipeline issues.
• Maintain runbooks, incident records, escalation procedures, knowledge articles and operational documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering, data, analytics and business stakeholders to coordinate incidents, releases and operational activities.
• Identify and implement improvements for reliability, automation, monitoring coverage, operational efficiency and cloud‑cost visibility.

Required profile

• Proven experience in DevOps, cloud operations or data‑platform support.
• Hands‑on knowledge of Azure, Databricks, Git/CI‑CD, Azure access controls, SQL and ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Basic to working knowledge of Python/PySpark troubleshooting and Power BI Service administration.
• Strong incident‑management, problem‑solving, documentation and stakeholder‑coordination abilities.
