Design Officer

About the role

McDonald’s Philippines is seeking a Design Officer to lead the development and implementation of restaurant layout and design concepts across the country. The role combines architectural expertise with brand compliance, ensuring each new or renovated outlet meets global standards while reflecting local requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and refine preliminary restaurant plans, layouts, and design concepts in line with approved guidelines and branding.
• Conduct site visits, coordinate surveys and tests, and assess site conditions to ensure compliance with local regulations and global design standards.
• Present design proposals to stakeholders, incorporate feedback, and secure necessary approvals before project endorsement.
• Review architectural and engineering plans for operational fit, budget adherence, construction timelines, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, facilitate plan review discussions, and support resolution of design issues throughout project execution.

Required profile

• Licensed Architect with 3–5 years of experience in architecture, design, construction, interior, commercial, or retail design.
• Willingness to travel nationwide for site visits and store walk‑throughs.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop.
• Ability to work with 3D design tools.
