Design Engineer

About the role

The Design Engineer will support residential, commercial and industrial projects, focusing on solar PV systems. The role requires a registered electrical engineer who can manage design, installation and commissioning activities while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Work on assigned project sites across residential, commercial and industrial sectors.
• Review methodology, job hazard analysis, Gantt charts and material loading reports.
• Review layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures.
• Provide streamlined project information and detailed bill of materials.
• Oversee project planning, resource distribution, time, risk, budget and staff management.
• Monitor timely delivery and installation of materials and equipment.
• Document progress records of installations.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license (preferred).

Required profile

• Registered Electrical Engineer.
• Strong background in solar PV design, installation and commissioning.
• Willingness to work on diverse project sites.
• Valid driver’s license is a plus.
