Design Associate - Architecture

About the role

The Design Associate will support the creation of innovative, cost‑effective architectural solutions for assigned projects. Working under the guidance of senior professionals, you will develop concepts, detailed designs, and construction documents while ensuring compliance with client criteria and local codes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop conceptual design packages for review by the Design Manager.
• Perform dimensional, interference, and basic design checks on layouts and sketches.
• Conduct analyses, calculations, and safety‑focused design reviews.
• Prepare detailed design drawings, specifications, and code‑compliance reviews.
• Produce organized construction documents and support shop‑drawing and submittal reviews.
• Assist in field inspections, resolve on‑site issues, and prepare field orders and record drawings.
• Create work plans, monitor personal workload, and report progress to senior staff.
• Document meetings and communications to keep the project team informed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in architectural design.
• Experience with Revit and production of construction documents.
• Understanding of local building code compliance requirements.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
