Demand Planning Officer

About the role

The Demand Planning Officer is responsible for monitoring demand forecasting, supply ordering, ABC analysis, and replenishment strategies for an assigned brand. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate forecasts and optimal inventory levels.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Inventory, Outbound Logistics, Inbound Logistics, and Merchandising teams to align demand forecasting and replenishment.
• Analyze historical sales trends, research demand drivers, and develop effective forecast models.
• Maintain inventory at healthy levels, manage safety stocks, and prevent stock‑outs.
• Monitor slow‑moving and non‑moving SKUs to keep inventory within target ranges.
• Drive continuous improvement in forecast accuracy to enhance on‑shelf availability, sales, and margins.
• Conduct ABC analysis to categorize products and optimize inventory budgeting.
• Develop and implement process improvements and SOPs related to demand and replenishment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in demand forecasting and planning.
