Demand Planner

About the role

The Demand Planner ensures short‑term alignment between demand and supply by analysing forecasts, inventory levels and operational constraints. This role bridges strategic S&OP planning with daily execution, enabling agile responses to market fluctuations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse 13‑week rolling demand forecasts, aligning them with supply plans to prevent out‑of‑stock and soon‑to‑expire SKUs.
• Identify and resolve supply‑demand imbalances through scenario planning and root‑cause analysis.
• Spot sales opportunities and risks, recommending corrective actions to meet business targets.
• Track KPIs such as forecast accuracy, service level and inventory health.
• Maintain awareness of events that could impact sales performance and supply.
• Support digital transformation by integrating planning tools and automation.
• Collaborate with demand planning, supply planning, logistics, sales, marketing and customer service teams.
• Escalate critical issues and facilitate weekly S&OE meetings, communicating risks and trade‑offs clearly.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering, Statistics or a related business field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome.
• Effective communication and influencing abilities.

Required skills

• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Basic knowledge of Excel macros.
