Data Engineer – Build Scalable Data Pipelines

About the role

MicroSourcing is looking for a Data Engineer to design, build and maintain robust data pipelines that power analytics and business intelligence across the organization. You will work onsite in Cagayan De Oro, collaborating with data analysts, scientists and business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Optimize data architectures to support reporting and analytics.
• Integrate data from multiple sources while ensuring data quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with analysts, data scientists and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Implement monitoring, validation and performance tuning for efficient data processing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in data engineering or a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL or SQL Server.
• Hands‑on experience with data processing frameworks/tools (e.g., Spark, Airflow, dbt).
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java or Scala).
