Cybersecurity Operations Director

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Operations Director to lead our client’s managed services portfolio. The role combines strategic advisory, team leadership, and delivery of secure, business‑focused solutions for a global accounting firm.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee cybersecurity managed services teams across multiple security domains.
• Develop and execute strategic initiatives that drive business growth, operational excellence, and service innovation.
• Build and maintain executive‑level client relationships to strengthen trust and satisfaction.
• Mentor, coach, and develop future cybersecurity leaders within the organization.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, professional codes of conduct, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Analyze operational and performance metrics to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• At least 14 years of experience in cybersecurity operations, including SOC, IAM, Vulnerability Management and SecOps, with multi‑domain leadership responsibilities.
• Relevant security certifications such as Security+, CEH, CISM, CISSP or equivalent.
• Proven experience building, mentoring and managing diverse, high‑performing teams.
• Strong understanding of consulting and managed‑services delivery models.
