Cybersecurity Engineer (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Cybersecurity Engineer to join a leading manufacturing client in Makati. The role is hybrid, combining on‑site collaboration with remote work, and focuses on protecting critical systems and data from evolving cyber threats.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain network and security architecture across cloud and on‑premise environments.
• Implement strong authentication, access controls, and monitoring solutions to safeguard sensitive information.
• Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing.
• Develop and enforce security policies, risk management frameworks, and incident‑response procedures.
• Provide employee training on security best practices and support local onsite needs as required.
• Manage firewall rules, encryption technologies, and secure data transmission.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in security fields such as security architecture, IAM, or security operations.
• At least 2 years managing and securing data on cybersecurity platforms.
• Proven ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle occasional weekend or holiday work.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with minimal supervision.
