Cybersecurity Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to join our leading IT services and consulting firm in Quezon City. The successful candidate will protect our information assets, respond to incidents, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Establish, monitor, and maintain information security policies, procedures, and standards.
• Implement, operate, and maintain technical security controls such as firewalls, anti‑malware solutions, and Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS).
• Monitor, analyze, and investigate security incidents and breaches, coordinating response and containment activities.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and support annual external security audits.
• Document security breaches, assess impact, and recommend remediation measures.
• Analyze security data and system logs to produce compliance and threat reports.
• Collaborate with the Legal Division to ensure regulatory and legal compliance.
• Deliver security awareness and training to employees and third‑party vendors.
• Work closely with internal technical teams, business units, and external consultants or auditors.
• Stay current with emerging threats and industry standards through conferences and professional development.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Cybersecurity Analyst or Specialist.
• College degree in Electronics & Communications Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Knowledge of information security management systems, governance, incident handling, business continuity, and recovery strategies.
