Cybersecurity Analyst – Information Security Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our leading IT services and consulting firm in Quezon City. You will be responsible for protecting our information assets, managing security controls, and responding to incidents across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Establish, monitor, and maintain information security policies, procedures, and standards.
• Implement and operate technical security controls such as firewalls, anti‑malware solutions, and Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS).
• Monitor, analyze, and investigate security incidents, coordinating response and containment activities.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and support annual external security audits.
• Document security breaches, assess impact, and recommend remediation measures.
• Analyze security data and system logs to produce compliance and threat reports.
• Collaborate with the Legal Division to ensure regulatory and legal compliance.
• Deliver security awareness training to employees and third‑party vendors.
• Work closely with internal technical teams, business units, and external consultants or auditors.
• Stay current with emerging threats and industry standards through conferences and professional development.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Cybersecurity Analyst or Specialist.
• College degree in Electronics & Communications Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Knowledge of Privileged Access Management (PAM), Web Application Firewall (WAF), and Managed Security Operations Center (MSOC).
• Understanding of information security management systems, governance, risk management, business continuity, and incident handling.
