Cyber Security Manager – Lead SOC Operations

About the role

The Security Operations Manager leads the day‑to‑day activities of the Security Operations Center (SOC) and its analysts. You will ensure that monitoring, analysis, and escalation processes meet service level agreements while acting as the primary liaison for incident response and executive communication.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a 24x7 SOC delivery team, fostering innovation and accountability.
• Oversee daily SOC activities to protect networks, systems, and applications through technical enforcement of security policies.
• Coordinate escalation of incidents, conduct follow‑up meetings, and update SOPs and playbooks.
• Provide technical oversight for security tool deployment and implementation.
• Monitor threat levels using intrusion detection systems, firewalls, and security incident management products.
• Manage shift schedules, staffing, recruitment, development, and performance evaluations.
• Define metrics and KPIs, drive governance, and improve processes through innovation.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of security leadership experience.
• Proven ability to build long‑term career development plans for team members.
• Strong operational rigor with hands‑on experience in ITIL methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with executive management.
