Cyber Security Engineer (SIEM/SOAR)

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned Cyber Security Engineer to design, implement and maintain enterprise‑wide SIEM and SOAR solutions. The role works closely with security operations, threat analysts and IT teams to boost threat detection, automate response workflows and improve overall security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure and optimise SIEM platforms, develop correlation rules, dashboards, alerts and reports.
• Integrate log and telemetry sources from networks, endpoints, cloud services and applications, and tune data ingestion for performance.
• Implement and manage SOAR solutions, create automated incident‑response playbooks and integrate them with ticketing and threat‑intelligence tools.
• Support incident‑response activities by building actionable detections, performing root‑cause analysis and delivering preventive improvements.
• Document technical processes and share knowledge with security and IT teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in SIEM and/or SOAR administration, engineering or security operations.
• Experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC) is a plus.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with enterprise SIEM platforms.
• Implementation and automation of SOAR solutions.
• Scripting/automation using Python, PowerShell or Bash.
• Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, NIST and CIS Controls frameworks.
• Familiarity with endpoint and network security technologies, threat‑intelligence platforms and cloud security services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
