Customer Service Associate – Call Center

About the role

As a Customer Service Associate at CBRE Business Services, you will lead a team that handles complex daily and escalated customer issues within a call‑center environment. You will provide end‑to‑end support, ensuring inquiries are resolved efficiently and accurately.

Key responsibilities

• Answer incoming service requests via phone, chat, email and online portals.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated customer inquiries and concerns.
• Dispatch service work orders to vendors and track their completion.
• Verify and maintain accuracy of company systems, customer service databases and spreadsheets.
• Communicate work‑order status and next steps to customers.
• Generate, review and distribute customer‑service reports as needed.
• Assist in training new hires and temporary staff, providing technical guidance to junior associates.
• Gather and analyse data to identify and resolve complex, unprecedented problems.
• Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED with 3‑4 years of relevant experience.
• Comprehensive understanding of processes, procedures, systems and concepts within the role.
• Ability to evaluate and communicate complex information clearly and logically.
• Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.
• Advanced math ability for calculations such as percentages, discounts and mark‑ups.
