Customer Development Manager

About the role

The Customer Development Manager will drive business growth for Heineken Philippines by managing relationships with key retail accounts, primarily supermarket chains and convenience stores. This role combines sales development, operational oversight, and strategic planning to ensure both sell‑in and sell‑out performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain long‑term partnerships with assigned key accounts, acting as the primary point of contact.
• Conduct sell‑in meetings, present business initiatives, and negotiate contracts and trading terms.
• Monitor service levels, manage bad‑order retrieval, and ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Prepare and submit critical reports, conduct regular business reviews, and facilitate joint planning sessions.
• Plan and allocate commercial assets, forecast CapEx needs, and coordinate with merchandisers.
• Analyze sales data, maintain accurate account databases, and generate performance reports.

Required profile

• 4‑5 years of experience in sales handling national key accounts.
• Excellent communication, analytical, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Strong business acumen with a problem‑solving mindset.
• Professional driver’s license.
• Existing relationships with national key accounts are a plus.
