Custom Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Custom Software Engineer to design, develop, and enhance software components using SAP BTP and Joule Studio. The role focuses on building low‑code/no‑code automation solutions that integrate SAP and non‑SAP systems. You will work in an agile environment to deliver scalable, high‑performance applications that meet specific business requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Assign role collections and manage permissions within SAP BTP subaccounts.
• Configure and maintain SAP Build Process Automation settings.
• Design, build, compile, test and deploy custom Joule Skills and AI agents using Joule Studio.
• Create drag‑and‑drop workflows, rule‑based logic and event‑driven automation.
• Integrate Joule Skills with SAP and external systems via APIs, OData and destination services.
• Ensure security, compliance and data‑privacy controls through SAP Cloud Identity Services.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align automation solutions with organizational goals.

Required profile

• 7–10 years of professional experience in SAP BTP, SAP Build Process Automation and Joule Studio.
• Proven ability to develop low‑code/no‑code solutions and AI‑driven agents.
• Strong understanding of SAP Cloud Identity Services, authentication, provisioning and compliance.
• Experience with Cloud Foundry environments, subaccount entitlements and subscription models (BTPEA, CPEA, PAYG).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in related technologies as stated.
