Credit Risk Manager – Credit Administration

About the role

Salmon Bank is looking for a Credit Risk Manager, Credit Administration to safeguard the integrity of its credit portfolio from disbursement through closure. This role sits at the heart of the credit control environment, acting as an independent checkpoint that ensures every loan is booked, monitored, and closed in full compliance with approved terms, regulatory requirements, and internal policy.

Key responsibilities

• Provide final clearance before loan disbursement by validating compliance with approved credit terms, documentation, delegated authorities, and regulatory conditions.
• Authorize loan disbursements independently from origination, ensuring releases align with approved credit approvals and intended use of proceeds.
• Ensure accurate booking, classification, recording, and reconciliation of credit facilities across the bank’s systems.
• Maintain integrity, completeness, security, and accessibility of all credit and collateral documentation for legacy loans.
• Monitor compliance with approved credit conditions, covenants, and collateral requirements, escalating exceptions as needed.
• Administer loan settlement, collateral release, and maintain closed‑loan records in accordance with policy and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Strong background in credit administration, credit risk, or loan operations within a banking or financial institution.
• Solid understanding of credit approval processes, loan documentation, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
• Experience with loan booking systems, collateral management, and portfolio monitoring.
• High attention to detail and ability to operate as an independent control function separate from origination.
