Cost Manager – MEPF Quantity Surveying

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Cost Manager specialising in MEPF (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing & Fire Protection) to join our Cost Management team. The role supports managers in delivering high‑quality client outcomes through strong commercial knowledge, advanced technical expertise and a deep understanding of cost drivers across real‑estate development projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage tender processes, including pre‑qualification, preparation of tender documentation, scope definition and responding to vendor queries.
• Perform detailed quantity take‑offs and cost estimations at all project stages, develop Bills of Quantities for local and international APAC projects, and apply civil construction methodology to minimise errors.
• Own small to medium‑size projects or key components of larger cost‑management assignments, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of outputs.
• Utilise JLL best‑practice tools and technology, capture and share knowledge, and contribute to continuous service improvement and innovation.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of quantity surveying experience with a strong engineering background in HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing and fire protection.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Proven experience in tender documentation, evaluation and management.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and collaborate effectively.

Required skills

• HVAC, Electrical systems, Plumbing, Fire protection knowledge.
• Advanced quantity take‑off and cost estimation.
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency; CostX software preferred.
• Familiarity with international standards such as MasterFormat, NRM, POMI and CESMM.
