Cost Controller – Project Cost Management

About the role

We are looking for a Cost Controller to support project cost management across our diverse portfolio. The role involves tracking budgets, commitments, payments and forecasts, and delivering clear cost reports and dashboards to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain registers for budgets, commitments, costs, payments, forecasts, changes and variations.
• Track actual costs, invoices, approved and pending payments, and forecast final project cost.
• Prepare monthly cost reports, executive summaries and project dashboards.
• Coordinate cost data with procurement, contracts, accounts, planning and project controls teams.
• Support CPI, cost variance, earned value, trend and forecast reporting as required.
• Keep structured cost‑control records within the AYATA system.
• Identify and flag cost risks, missing data, inconsistent inputs and unsupported forecast movements.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of experience in cost control, project controls, quantity surveying support, project finance administration or commercial reporting.
• Background in construction, EPC, mining, industrial, oil & gas or infrastructure projects is preferred.
• Strong command of English and ability to work remotely with international project teams.
• Disciplined administration skills and willingness to follow structured AYATA workflows.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for register control, reporting and analysis.
• Experience using the AYATA cost‑control platform.
