Cost Controller

About the role

The Cost Controller will ensure accurate cost reporting and inventory control for the hotel’s materials management department. Working closely with hotel managers and staff, you will help maintain financial discipline and support budgeting decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Audit activities of the materials management department.
• Prepare daily and monthly cost‑of‑sales reports.
• Generate figures on general stores issues such as guest supplies usage against budget.
• Check and correct data entry of material management employees.
• Audit inventory transactions for commissary, butchery and outlet kitchens.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and authorizations.
• Perform month‑end inventory stock counts, reconcile differences and investigate variances.
• Conduct balance‑sheet reconciliation for food, beverage, general and engineering inventories.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field (preferred).
• At least two years of accounting experience, preferably in a hospitality environment.
• Advanced proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience using accounting software.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with hotel employees and managers.
