Cost Controller – Construction Projects (Southeast Asia)

About the role

ACCIONA Energía is looking for a Cost Controller to support its construction projects across Southeast Asia, primarily in the Philippines and Thailand. Based at the Makati Head Office, you will work closely with the PMO Engineering and Construction Global Team in Spain and the Regional Head of Engineering and Construction for Southeast Asia.

Key responsibilities

• Manage construction project costs and prepare monthly cost reports for project management.
• Launch purchase orders in coordination with relevant departments.
• Review contract cost sections before finalisation.
• Update monthly financial information (ECO, cost distribution) and generate required reports.
• Analyse incurred, committed, pending, and forecasted costs, identifying deviations, risks and opportunities.
• Coordinate work certification with subcontractors and the AGR project team.
• Control and monitor internal and external change orders.
• Hold monthly meetings with the Project Manager during execution and closure phases.
• Conduct occasional site visits and ensure all cost‑related documentation is uploaded to SharePoint.
• Provide cost information to other departments and suggest improvements to departmental procedures.
