About the role

The Corporate Taxation Manager leads the tax practice, ensuring compliance with Philippine tax laws while identifying opportunities for process improvement and strategic tax planning. This senior position advises the business on tax matters, drives accurate reporting, and supports the finance team in mitigating tax risks.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee preparation, review, and timely filing of all corporate tax returns.
• Identify and implement process improvements in tax procedures.
• Develop and execute strategic tax planning for all applicable taxes.
• Coordinate tax calendars and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather required inputs.
• Maintain robust control procedures across the tax function.
• Manage tax audits, including response preparation and schedule creation.
• Monitor legislative changes, communicate impacts, and devise strategies to leverage new tax regulations.
• Support internal audits and special tax‑related projects.
• Review quarterly and annual tax projections and returns.
• Mentor and develop tax team members to enhance effectiveness.

Required profile

• CPA qualification and a Bachelor of Accountancy degree.
• Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in tax compliance.
• Extensive knowledge of individual, partnership, and corporate tax.
• Deep familiarity with Philippine tax legislation and regulations.
