Corporate Lawyer – Real Estate & Construction

About the role

New San Jose Builders, Inc. is looking for a full‑time, on‑site Lawyer based in Quezon City. The role provides comprehensive legal support for the company’s real‑estate and construction activities, ensuring compliance, managing risk, and representing the organization in legal matters.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Head of the Legal Department with legal research, case analysis, and factual investigations.
• Provide legal advice and assistance to all internal departments on a wide range of queries.
• Supervise and guide legal assistants in their daily tasks.
• Process, draft, review, and monitor contracts, legal opinions, and related documents.
• Negotiate and communicate with external parties regarding contracts and agreements.
• Support the corporate secretary in drafting and updating corporate documents and records.
• Handle active litigation cases, including civil, criminal, labor, and administrative matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other court or administrative filings, and represent the company in hearings and mediations.

Required profile

• Law degree and admission to the bar.
• Experience in corporate, construction, and litigation matters.
• Ability to work collaboratively with various departments and senior leadership.
