Corporate Investigator, Enterprise Protection Program

About the role

The Corporate Investigator supports the Enterprise Protection Program by examining reports of theft, fraud, vandalism and policy violations across global sites. Working under the GI Regional Manager, the role blends technology‑driven analysis, interviewing and evidence handling to safeguard people, information and assets.

Key responsibilities

• Review CCTV footage, access‑control logs and other data sources to identify behaviours, root causes and potential evidence.
• Prioritise and manage a caseload of multiple incidents, escalating complex matters as needed.
• Collect, document and preserve video, images, documents and other evidence throughout the investigation workflow.
• Interview victims, witnesses and persons of interest using established, non‑coercive techniques.
• Investigate both external threats and internal incidents such as asset theft, intellectual‑property loss or vandalism.
• Use a structured case‑management system to track investigations, analyse trends and recommend process improvements.
• Prepare clear written reports and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Participate in training, mentor peers and contribute to case‑management metrics.
• Utilise tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Acrobat DC, Lightroom, Bridge, Microsoft Word, Outlook, Lenel and a cloud‑based case management platform.

Required profile

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to empathise and remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent organisational abilities to handle overlapping deadlines and priorities.
• Attention to detail for evidence collection, documentation and preservation.
• Willingness to learn and apply continuous‑process‑improvement concepts.
