Corporate Controller

About the role

The Corporate Controller will oversee the firm’s day‑to‑day financial operations while contributing to strategic financial oversight. This position combines hands‑on transactional accounting, month‑end close ownership, financial reporting, process improvement, and partnership with internal corporate staff, consultants, and leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily accounting activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll coordination, billing, cash management and general ledger maintenance.
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations and supporting schedules.
• Maintain accurate records for accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets and other balance‑sheet accounts in accordance with GAAP.
• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual close processes and produce timely financial statements and management reports.
• Analyze variances, trends, margins and operating results to identify risks and opportunities.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow reporting and other financial planning activities.
• Support design, documentation and improvement of accounting processes and internal controls.
• Assist with audit preparation, tax support, compliance reporting and other external reporting requirements.
• Identify and implement workflow automation and reporting enhancements.
• Collaborate with corporate leadership, consultants, operations, HR and other stakeholders to deliver clear financial information.
