Contracts Project Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Contracts Project Manager to coordinate and support demolition projects from the office. Reporting to the Project Director and working alongside the Operations Manager, the role serves as the operational link between clients, subcontractors, suppliers and site teams, ensuring projects are planned, documented and delivered efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate multiple demolition projects simultaneously and ensure they are fully planned before mobilisation.
• Assist with project programming, scheduling and scope management, communicating any changes promptly.
• Prepare and co‑ordinate project handovers and maintain accurate progress reports.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams, handling project‑related correspondence and attending stakeholder meetings.
• Escalate issues to the Project Director when necessary.
• Prepare quotations for minor works (up to AUD $1,000) and ensure complete, accurate job documentation.
• Update project information in the Job Management System (JMS) and perform compliance checks.
• Support site operations through office coordination, material purchase requests, warehouse deliveries and waste‑management logistics.
• Conduct toolbox and project coordination meetings, assist with recruitment and resource planning, and resolve day‑to‑day operational issues.
• Prepare regular project and operational reports for continuous improvement.

• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience in construction or demolition project coordination.
• Capability to maintain operational continuity when senior staff are unavailable.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a Job Management System (JMS).
