Contract Manager (Food Services)

About the role

The Contract Manager will lead the mobilisation of Sodexo's food services contract, overseeing pre‑opening activities, staff recruitment, supplier liaison, budgeting and policy development while ensuring compliance with client and Sodexo standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate pre‑opening tasks such as contract mobilisation, staff recruitment and training.
• Manage relationships with suppliers and subcontractors and set up administration procedures.
• Develop and monitor the contract budget, forecasts and financial recommendations.
• Implement Sodexo policies and ensure compliance with the Client for Life program.
• Oversee site operations in partnership with site representatives and senior management.
• Lead HR activities including induction, performance reviews, training needs analysis and team meetings.
• Handle finance duties: accurate reporting, cost control, purchasing compliance, labour rostering and monthly forecasting.
• Enforce safety, health, environment and food safety policies through training and supervision.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing food services contracts or similar hospitality operations.
• Strong leadership and team‑building capabilities.
• Solid understanding of budgeting, financial forecasting and cost control.
• Ability to ensure compliance with client and corporate policies.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder and customer interaction.
