Contract Analyst

About the role

3M is seeking a Contract Analyst to manage the contract lifecycle for government and private sector opportunities within the Transportation and Energy Business Group. You will coordinate proposal responses, support negotiations, and serve as the primary contact for customer contract matters.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze bid solicitations and contract opportunities for the Roadway Materials portfolio.
• Lead coordination of bid responses across cross‑functional teams including marketing, sales, lab, finance, and manufacturing.
• Plan and lead contract negotiations, documenting outcomes to reduce risk and improve financial results.
• Negotiate contract changes and renewals, and serve as the primary contact for customer contract matters.
• Develop strong customer relationships to support follow‑up opportunities and business growth.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or associate degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of one year of combined experience in contract administration, sales, or customer service.
• Minimum of one year of project management experience.
• Fluent in English with strong speaking, writing and comprehension skills.
• Strong communication, analytical, and negotiation abilities.
