Construction Superintendent – Lead Field Operations

About the role

We are seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead all field operations from mobilization through project completion for complex commercial and industrial projects across the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate subcontractors, site logistics, schedules, inspections and daily field activities to keep projects moving safely and efficiently.
• Partner with Project Management teams to monitor productivity, control costs and maintain schedule performance.
• Champion safety culture, ensuring safety is the foundation of every decision.
• Collaborate with owners, architects, engineers and trade partners to deliver exceptional outcomes.
• Anticipate challenges, remove roadblocks and make sound field decisions.
• Ensure each construction phase meets quality standards, specifications and inspection requirements.
• Communicate proactively through daily reports, meetings and short‑term planning.
• Develop and drive short‑term look‑ahead schedules to keep work progressing safely.
• Mentor field personnel, foster teamwork and create a proud jobsite environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading commercial and/or industrial construction projects from the field.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and subcontract documents.
• Experience coordinating multiple trades while maintaining safety, quality and schedule performance.
• OSHA certification required; First Aid/CPR certification preferred.
• Willingness to travel nationwide to support projects across the United States.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using construction management software such as Procore.
