Construction Project Manager – Manufacturing Plant

About the role

The Construction Project Manager will lead large‑scale capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects for new facilities, site expansions and end‑to‑end engineering initiatives within a manufacturing environment. Reporting to senior leadership, the role oversees the full project lifecycle from feasibility through design, construction, commissioning and turnover, ensuring quality, cost, safety and schedule targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Lead feasibility, scoping, budgeting, detailed design, construction, commissioning and turnover for multi‑site CAPEX projects.
• Develop and deploy engineering standards, project management tools and best‑practice processes across the organization.
• Create project schedules, budgets, cost estimates, risk assessments and performance metrics.
• Coordinate with Real Estate, Procurement, R&D, Manufacturing, Legal, Facilities and external partners.
• Manage contractors and vendors, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety regulations and permitting requirements.
• Provide technical leadership across civil/structural, mechanical, utilities and construction disciplines.
• Drive issue resolution, escalation, cost control, change management and continuous improvement.
• Mentor and develop the project engineering team, building capability and succession plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering or related field; licensed engineer preferred.
• At least 10 years of managerial and technical experience in factory or industrial construction, preferably in food or FMCG sectors.
• Proven track record managing multi‑billion‑peso CAPEX or large‑scale facility projects.
• Strong background in contractor management, cost estimating and project controls.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid setup in Canlubang, Laguna.
