Construction Project Manager – Data Centre

About the role

The Construction Project Manager will lead the full lifecycle of data‑centre design and construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Enforce a strict safety culture on‑site and lead incident investigations, including root‑cause analysis.
• Direct day‑to‑day construction activities, monitor schedules, budgets and resource deployment.
• Oversee installation and commissioning of critical infrastructure such as diesel generators, UPS, chillers, switchgear and building monitoring systems.
• Manage end‑to‑end procurement, vendor pre‑qualification, tendering, contract negotiation and purchase order issuance.
• Lead cross‑functional teams of consultants, engineers, finance, legal, operations and procurement specialists.
• Implement rigorous quality‑assurance programs and ensure compliance with local and international building codes and environmental regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large‑scale construction projects, preferably in data‑centre or industrial facilities.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety standards and EHS procedures.
• Excellent ability to coordinate multi‑disciplinary teams and external contractors.
• Demonstrated competence in budget control and schedule management.
