Construction Project Estimator Assistant (US experience required)

About the role

We are seeking a Construction Project Estimator Assistant to support our estimating team in Manila. The role focuses on preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects while requiring prior US construction experience.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze project plans, specifications, and related documentation to develop detailed cost estimates.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to gather essential project information.
• Conduct site visits to understand project scope, conditions, and constraints.
• Identify and quantify cost factors such as production time, materials, and labor expenses.
• Prepare and present cost summaries and reports to management and clients.
• Review and update estimates as project details evolve.
• Maintain a database of historical cost data for future reference.
• Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and tender documents.
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and construction methods.

Required profile

• Minimum 2‑3 years of experience in the construction industry.
• Proven experience as a Project Estimator in construction.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and cost estimation techniques.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with high attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills.

What we offer

• Hourly compensation: Weeks 1‑4 $5/hr, Weeks 5‑8 $6/hr, Weeks 9+ $7/hr.
• Full‑time schedule: 40 hours/week, Monday‑Friday, 7 AM‑4 PM PST.
