Construction Estimator – Remote (US Firm)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Construction Estimator to support a US‑based construction firm. The position is fully remote, working on a schedule aligned with Manila time (12:30 AM – 8:30 AM). You will collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to produce accurate cost estimates for public‑works projects.

Key responsibilities

• Review project plans, specifications, bid documents, and addenda.
• Perform quantity takeoffs for architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general scopes.
• Prepare cost estimates covering labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor pricing.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor proposals, identifying gaps, exclusions, and constructability issues.
• Organize bid data using Excel, Google Sheets, and the company’s estimating platforms.
• Support bid preparation, submission documents, and post‑bid review meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 1‑2 years of experience in construction estimating, preferably public‑works.
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
