Construction Accounting Manager

About the role

iSupport Worldwide seeks a Construction Accounting Manager to lead and strengthen its construction accounting function. You will ensure accurate financial reporting, manage project accounting, and provide insights that support strategic decisions and operational growth.

Key responsibilities

• Own financial reporting, ensuring P&L and balance sheet accuracy.
• Lead month‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Oversee project accounting, including job costing, billing, and profitability tracking.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable operations.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to leadership.
• Drive process improvements and reduce manual workflows through automation.
• Support and optimize ERP systems such as Acumatica.
• Lead, manage, and develop the accounting team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience with strong financial reporting background.
• 3–5 years of construction accounting experience (job costing, WIP, over/under billing, retainage).
• At least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong ownership of financial reporting and data integrity.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with accounting ERP systems (Acumatica or similar).
• Advanced Excel skills with strong data‑analysis capability.
• Experience with Procore.
• Exposure to automation tools, AI tools, or cloud systems.
