Concrete Finisher Foreman

About the role

The Concrete Finisher Foreman supervises and trains crews on highway and bridge projects, ensuring concrete surfaces are prepared, placed, and finished to project specifications. This onsite role involves hands‑on work with a variety of tools and equipment while maintaining a safe, clean job site.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise crews in surface preparation, formwork installation, wet concrete placement, and finishing.
• Operate hand and power tools such as shovels, floats, bull floats, brooms, rakes, and screeds.
• Excavate, fill, and grade trenches and ditches to required levels.
• Assist with asphalt patching using hot and cold mixes.
• Load, unload, and handle materials; maintain accurate daily reports of crew hours, production, and material usage.
• Maintain site cleanliness and secure tools and equipment each day.

Required profile

• Ability to pass controlled substance tests before and during employment.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry up to 75 lb repeatedly.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and noisy environments.
• Experience supervising concrete finishing crews on highway or bridge projects is preferred.
