Community Relations & Development Office Manager

About the role

OceanaGold is seeking an experienced manager to lead the Community Relations and Development Office at the Didipio Mine. The role sits on the site leadership team and reports to the President and General Manager – External Affairs and Social Performance, overseeing stakeholder engagement and social performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of stakeholder engagement plans aligned with EA&SP standards.
• Guide teams to build and maintain positive community relationships with government bodies, NGOs, Indigenous Peoples and local employees.
• Ensure human rights considerations through due diligence, risk and impact assessments, and management plans.
• Design, manage or oversee physical and economic resettlement activities.
• Manage grievance systems, resolve complaints and provide reporting and analysis.
• Plan, manage and deliver CSR projects, including the Social Development Management Program, within budget and schedule.
• Partner with stakeholders to develop and improve external communication strategies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in long‑term stakeholder relationship building in a mining or similar industrial context.
• Demonstrated ability to lead external affairs and social performance functions at a senior level.
• Experience with human rights due diligence, grievance management and CSR project delivery.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to work within a site leadership team.
