Communication and Reports Officer

About the role

The Communication and Reports Officer will support UNICEF’s mission in Mindanao by developing and delivering advocacy and communication initiatives that promote children’s and women’s rights. Working under the Field Office Communication Officer, the incumbent will create compelling content for diverse audiences and ensure high‑quality reporting for donors and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating an advocacy and communication strategy.
• Write and edit human‑interest stories, press releases, talking points, articles and scripts.
• Produce and design social‑media content such as factographs and infographics.
• Support events, launches, campaigns and other key communication activities.
• Prepare donor reports, proposals and other documents, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Adapt multimedia assets from HQ, regional or other UNICEF offices for local audiences.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Journalism, Media Studies, Public Relations, Marketing, Social Sciences or related field (advanced degree is an advantage).
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in communication, print/broadcast media, digital media or a related area.
• Fluent English (required).
