About the role

The ASCEND program is a 12‑month, highly selective leadership experience designed to fast‑track high‑potential commercial talent into field‑sales supervisory and commercial‑operations leadership positions. Participants rotate through field assignments, receive executive mentorship, and work on strategic stretch projects that develop both business acumen and people‑leadership capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Support territory and area commercial objectives through disciplined execution of business priorities.
• Analyze performance data, identify gaps, and propose action plans to improve sales, distribution, pricing discipline, and program execution.
• Translate commercial strategies into clear field activities, milestones, and success metrics while tracking relevant KPIs.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external trade partners to drive business outcomes.
• Gather market intelligence, including trade feedback, competitive activity, and customer insights.
• Lead frontline teams by applying coaching, performance‑management, and people‑development practices.
• Drive cross‑functional projects, influencing stakeholders with data‑driven insights and collaborative problem‑solving.
