Collections Team Leader (Motorcycle Loans)

About the role

We are seeking a Collections Team Leader to head our field collection team handling motorcycle loan accounts in Calamba. The role involves driving collection performance, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations, and supporting borrowers throughout the recovery process.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and supervise a team of field collectors to meet collection targets.
• Monitor daily collection activities and ensure adherence to policies and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching and implement action plans to boost productivity.
• Perform account monitoring, portfolio reviews and delinquency management.
• Coordinate field collection activities, conduct client visits and travel within the assigned area.
• Prepare and submit collection performance reports and recommendations to management.
• Investigate collection issues and resolve escalated borrower concerns.
• Ensure proper documentation and timely endorsement of accounts for further actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in field collections, preferably with motorcycle, salary or consumer loans.
• Previous supervisory or team‑lead experience is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the territory and to ride a motorcycle.

Required skills

• Strong leadership, coaching and team‑management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Good negotiation, communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a motorcycle.
