Cloud Engineer – Secure Cloud Platforms

About the role

The Cloud Engineer will design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and cost‑efficient cloud platforms for a government‑focused IT solutions provider. Working closely with development, operations, and security teams, you will ensure cloud solutions meet business requirements and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy and configure secure, resilient cloud resources according to design specifications.
• Support day‑to‑day operations of cloud workloads, monitoring availability and performance.
• Apply Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM, or CloudFormation to provision and manage resources.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments.
• Optimize cloud resources for cost, security, and performance.
• Respond to incidents, troubleshoot, and resolve cloud‑related issues.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to address escalated problems.
• Ensure configurations comply with security, governance, and regulatory standards and maintain up‑to‑date documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience deploying and managing workloads in AWS, Azure or GCP, including hybrid and multi‑cloud environments.
• 2–4 years of experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automating deployments.
• 2–4 years of operational support experience, handling cloud incidents and coordinating with cross‑functional teams.
