Cloud Engineer (Kubernetes Administrator)

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned Cloud Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure. The role focuses on Kubernetes administration, container technologies, and automation within a banking environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead application system enhancements and complex infrastructure projects.
• Maintain consistency and enforce standards for technical solutions.
• Direct production tasks according to documented schedules, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
• Assign workloads, balance duties across project team members, and monitor performance.
• Ensure projects meet quality assurance standards and audit requirements.
• Review production systems and recommend efficiency improvements.

Required profile

• Graduate of an IT‑related degree.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in systems analysis, design, and development, with a focus on cloud environments.
• Proven experience managing AWS, Kubernetes, and container platforms such as EKS and OpenShift.
• Strong scripting and automation skills (Terraform, Python).
• Project management experience and familiarity with agile methodologies.
• Willingness to work onsite in Taguig.
