Clinical Pharmacist – US Healthcare & Specialty Pharmacy

About the role

Marsh is looking for a licensed pharmacist to join its MercerWell team in Manila. This is a hybrid role with at least three days a week in the office. As a Pharmacy Consultant, you act as the specialty pharmacy resource for your assigned clinical team, helping to manage complex clinical cases involving high-cost claimants and serving as the subject matter expert for internal and external clinical partners.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and manage potential and actual high-cost claimants (HCC) for the assigned clinical team
• Interpret pharmacy data reports from benefit administrators to select HCC cases for review
• Build effective carrier and vendor relationships to represent Mercer and serve clients
• Take part in Pharmacy Practice meetings and communicate Mercer's point of view on clinical and pharmacy management strategies
• Lead case discussions with account executives and clinical teams to suggest ways to improve case management and control costs
• Develop reports and presentations, presenting results clearly to clients so progress can be tracked over time

Required profile

• Active, unencumbered PRC-issued pharmacy license
• At least 5+ years of relevant clinical pharmacy experience
• Prior experience with US healthcare systems, clinical program audits, specialty medications or high-cost claimants
• Graduate-level specialty pharmacy education or a related field such as clinical pharmacy or public health (a plus)

Required skills

• Navigate MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) to produce client deliverables
• Evaluate specialty medication regimens and make evidence-based recommendations
• Organizational skills, prioritizing multiple tasks independently and leading small teams
• Strong communication and business writing skills
