Clinical Operations Manager

About the role

iRhythm is seeking a Manager, Clinical Operations to lead a high‑performing team responsible for delivering clinical services at scale. In this role you will oversee daily operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement across the department.

Key responsibilities

• Team Management: Supervise 20‑25 non‑exempt staff, ensuring performance meets production, quality, and operational standards.
• Performance Management: Track and evaluate staff metrics, implementing process improvements to achieve quality and efficiency goals.
• Coaching & Development: Provide guidance, conduct performance reviews, and recognize achievements to foster a high‑performance culture.
• Escalation & Recovery: Manage customer‑service escalations in a high‑volume environment to maintain service excellence.
• Operational Oversight: Ensure day‑to‑day service delivery runs efficiently and complies with policies and regulations.
• Compliance & Regulations: Maintain adherence to FDA regulations and company policies, collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
• Strategic Planning: Contribute to long‑term planning and leadership initiatives with senior management.
• Budget & Resource Management: Oversee team budget, allocate resources, and partner with talent acquisition on headcount planning.
• Staff Development: Coordinate training with clinical teams to meet performance and quality standards.
• Continuous Improvement: Support quality management programs and cross‑functional projects to enhance operational efficiency.
• Performance Dashboards & Tools: Use workflow automation tools and dashboards to monitor metrics and align with organizational goals.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large teams in a service‑focused environment.
• Expertise in using KPIs and performance metrics to drive operational improvements.
• Experience managing clinical operational workflows and familiarity with FDA regulations.
• Strong strategic planning, budgeting, and resource allocation skills.
• Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and senior leadership.
